Carrier FAQs
How can I get setup to haul for Nkargo?
You can print our carrier packet, send it to us by fax to 651-842-9560 with you W-9, insurance certificate, references, authority and all other information you think might helpo us. After you have been setup make sure you contact your dispatcher regularly to keep on the office board for new loads.
What are your quick pay options?
All regular payments will be cut 30 days from receipt of invoice, receipts and PODs with no deductions.
Quick payment is 2% deduction from the carrier’s charges. An ACH payment isprocessed the same day. Carrier’s bank info required for ACH. A copy of thesigned BOL or POD, invoice and reference number is required. Your Nkargo dispatcher can help you with this.
Immediate pay is 5% and a Tcheck will be cut within minutes (during regular business hours) of receiving your paperwork. The fastest way to get paid
Can I get an advance on a load I'm hauling for Nkargo?
Yes. We will advance up to 50% of the load at management’s discretion. (5% discount) . Let your Nkargo dispatcher know you need this even before you pick up the load, your money will be ready as soon as we confirm you have loaded and we see a copy of the original dock receipt of B/L. Due to the increased insecurity and scams in the industry, Nkargo cannot advance to first time carriers, if you are a first time carrier for us please keep this in mind.Also, Nkargo will only give T-Check numbers via the telephone number you have registered with the FMCSA. If you do not have access to this number we recommend you update your records with FMCSA and USDOT before attempting to get advances from us. It is your legal obligation.
Can I check the status of a payment online?
Yes, you can chek the status of a shipping invoice here.
Do you need POD originals or can I get paid with faxed copies?
Usually we can work with copies by fax but we still recommend you send us the originals by mail.If your dispatcher needs originals for a specific load he/she will let you know.
I'm an owner operator, can I drive for Nkargo Trucking?
Sure, as long as you have a clean record and you keep your equipment in top shape, we're always looking for good owner operators to lease on to Nkargo Trucking.
